Giorgi Malania joined BLC in 2022 as an intern and was subsequently promoted to Paralegal, Junior Associate and Associate. His practice focuses on civil, corporate, administrative, and intellectual property litigation. He also supports the BLC litigation team by conducting research on a wide range of legal issues. In addition, Giorgi is regularly involved in corporate law matters alongside the firm's litigation team.
Giorgi has been engaged in legal practice since 2019. Prior to joining BLC, he interned at My Lawyer N(N)LE and the Tbilisi Court of Appeals. He also worked as a Junior Associate at another company. He earned his bachelor's degree with honors from Tbilisi State University and subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Private (Business) Law from Ilia State University. During his studies, Giorgi participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (2022) and the Zenica Vis Pre-Moot. In 2022, he also passed the Georgian Bar Examination in Civil and Administrative Law.
- Represented clients in civil and commercial disputes before Georgian courts, arbitration tribunals, and public authorities, managing procedural matters and dispute strategies.
- Advised on corporate matters and contractual issues, including the drafting and structuring of corporate resolutions, commercial agreements, and legal instruments.
- Developed multi-jurisdictional legal opinions and documentation, advising on cross-border commercial transactions and regulatory frameworks.
