Junior Associate
Ana Gagnidze is a Junior Associate at BLC Law Office. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, immigration law, civil and administrative litigation, and personal data protection.
Ana advises both local and international clients on a broad range of corporate and regulatory matters. She has been actively involved in numerous share purchase transactions, corporate restructurings, and general corporate governance matters, assisting clients throughout various stages of transactional work. Her experience also includes drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, preparing legal memoranda, conducting legal research, and advising on regulatory compliance issues.
Ana has developed significant experience in Georgian immigration law, regularly assisting corporate and individual clients with residence and work permit matters, immigration compliance, and related administrative proceedings. She is also actively involved in personal data protection matters, with particular experience in advising clients on cross-border data transfers and assisting with applications for international data transfer authorizations before the Personal Data Protection Service.
In addition, Ana regularly represents and assists clients in civil, corporate, and administrative disputes. Her work includes preparing statements of claim, motions, legal submissions and other procedural documents, as well as supporting clients throughout litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Ana joined BLC Law Office in 2023 as a Legal Intern and was promoted to Paralegal shortly thereafter. Since February 2026, she has served as a Junior Associate.
Prior to joining BLC, Ana worked with the Georgian Democracy Initiative (GDI) as part of its international litigation team. In this role, she contributed to international human rights litigation by conducting legal research and assisting in the preparation of legal submissions before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
Ana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Free University of Tbilisi in 2024. During her studies, she participated in several national and international moot court competitions. Notably, she advanced to the international rounds of the 43rd Jean-Pictet Competition held in Belgium. She also competed in the European Law Moot Court and participated in competitions in consumer protection mediation and mock trial advocacy.
- Assisted international and domestic clients in share purchase transactions, including transaction documentation, and closing processes.
- Advised and assisted foreign individuals and international companies on a broad range of Georgian immigration matters, including residence permits, work authorization, immigration compliance, and administrative proceedings.
- Assisted multiple international clients in obtaining authorizations for cross-border personal data transfers and advised on compliance with Georgian personal data protection legislation.
- Participated in the preparation of legal memoranda addressing issues of Georgian corporate, constitutional, administrative, civil, and regulatory law.
- Represented clients in civil and administrative disputes by preparing statements of claim, motions, appeals, legal opinions, and other litigation documents.
- Assisted in arbitration proceedings through legal research and drafting procedural submissions.
- Drafted and reviewed commercial agreements, corporate documents, internal policies, and legal opinions for local and international clients.
- Conducted comprehensive legal research on matters involving corporate governance, foreign investment, employment, immigration, constitutional law, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
