Keti Rukhadze is an Associate in BLC’s Corporate & Finance practice, focusing on corporate, commercial and financial regulatory matters, with particular emphasis on banking, Fintech, including Payment and Virtual Asset Service Providers, and capital markets. She joined the firm in 2020 and advises local and international clients on transaction structuring, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Keti’s practice spans M&A and corporate restructuring, shareholder matters, regulatory assessments, intellectual property matters, and commercial contract negotiation. She also advises on legislative and regulatory developments under Georgian law, as well as international private law matters, including the legality and enforceability of foreign law-governed instruments.
Keti is an active member of the arbitration community, having previously served as legal secretary for one of the prominent disputes administered by the Georgian International Arbitration Centre, and regularly acts as an arbitrator at international moot competitions, including the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
- Advised banks, Fintech companies, payment service providers, Virtual Asset Service Providers and other financial sector participants in Georgia on regulatory, corporate and governance matters.
- Conducted due diligence reviews, provided transaction support and implemented corporate changes across M&A, investment, corporate restructuring and intellectual property matters.
- Supported financing matters involving international finance institutions, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
- Worked on capital markets transactions for financial institutions, including the issuance of various capital instruments.
- Actively contributed to an international arbitration case concerning a major deep-sea port infrastructure project.
